Only 30 of these new Oregon Concert LTD guitars have been made, and this one is a beauty! The special process that creates the "Patina" look on this guitar is achieved by a combination of materials that create a chemical reaction with the wood. The result is a negative like effect you'd see on a film when exposed to light. This still has a nice gloss lacquer finish but the coloration you see is not a paint finish, it's the actual Myrtlewood that has changed color tone. Also, the maple on the neck has had the same patina process applied as well. A really unique and amazing looking guitar, and sounds as good as myrtlewood sounds - open, clear and fully present in all string responses from bass to trebles. #27742
